Vanessa-Whatley

Vanessa Whatley is a Design Research & Strategy Leader in the San Francisco Bay Area.

She is the Head of Research - Data & Growth at Twilio, where she leads a talented team of researchers and service designers across Segment, Sendgrid and Twilio Engage. Previously, she held senior research roles at Google and Capital One. 

Vanessa's background in Anthropology has inspired her to think about ways in which companies can prioritize customer needs when building products and executing business strategy.

By building her knowledge in UX Research and Design she seeks to promote human-centered solutions to the challenges that institutions and individuals face.

Prayag Narula, HeyMarvin

Prayag Narula is the co-founder and CEO of HeyMarvin, a qualitative user research platform that elevates the voice of your customers so you design exactly what they need.

Previously, Prayag cofounded and led LeadGenius, a venture-backed company that helps B2B sales and marketing teams save time and deliver on their revenue goals. 

Prayag studied at the UC Berkeley School of Information, and he is the published author of several research papers on Human Centered Design.
