Amy Heger

Amy Heger is a Responsible AI UX Researcher at JeffreyM Consulting on the UX Research and Education team for Aether, Microsoft’s advisory group on AI ethics and effects in engineering and research. In this role, she drives research efforts tied to human-AI interaction, transparency, fairness, and privacy. Recent projects include the development of the Responsible AI Maturity Model, investigation of overreliance mitigations for large language models, and AI's effects on productivity.
Previously, Amy worked as a Research Associate at Oak Ridge Associated Universities, where she designed and implemented workplace safety and security culture assessments for nuclear facilities. She completed her PhD in social psychology from the University of Tennessee. Amy pulls from this social science expertise and her mixed qualitative and quantitative background to empower AI practitioners to develop and deploy AI systems more responsibly.

Prayag was a researcher at University of Helsinki in Finland. He studied at the UC Berkeley School of Information.
He is the published author of over a dozen research papers in the field of HCI, User Centered Design, Artificial Intelligence, Crowdsourcing, and Computer Networks.
